UK’s first frozen beach launched by Parrot Bay

At this time of year, the beach is king – but if you live in the concrete jungle of London, you’ve got a long way to go.
So what a kind act from Parrot Bay, the ‘freeze and squeeze’ cocktail brand, to build the UK’s first frozen beach on Potter’s Fields in a bid to get the capital to, literally, chill out.
Sub-zero sun loungers and ice sculptured palm trees were erected, while Apprentice star Luisa Zissman dished out the cocktails.
The beach also marked Parrot Bay’s launch of National Shorts Day (15th August, if you want to mark it in your diary)
Although whether you’ll be donning your shorts on an annual basis or not, a frozen beach makes a good picture story in my book. Cheers!
