Tiger Woods hits golf ball from Europe into Asia in world-first PR stunt

In a PR stunt to promote the upcoming Turkish Airlines Open final, cheaty-cheaty Tiger Woods sent the first ever golf ball from Europe into Asia.
To complete the world’s first intercontinental shot, Woods teed off on Istanbul’s Bosphorus Bridge, which spans the two continents and stretches for 1.5km. The Telegraph video below (apparently filmed on a calculator) shows the feat in all its glory.
The conscientious might consider the traffic – according to this on Sky Sports, traffic was closed on one side of the bridge for 20 minutes ‘causing chaos at one one of the busiest times of the day’.
Expect to see a lesser version utilising the Severn Bridge between England and Wales soon.
