Behind the Campaign: ebook launches highlighting 19 tools every PR student and professional should be aware of

Today marks the launch of a free ebook for the PR community: My #PRstack: a practical guide to modern PR tools and workflow.
Nineteen people within the industry have written a chapter, each describing a tool or service that makes their professional lives working in PR, digital content and SEO easier.
That’s nineteen different tools every public relations and marketing student and professional should at least be aware of.
As somebody who’s created PR tools and services myself – this site is a resource for the industry as much as a bit of fun, and I also co-created blogger relations service bloggabase.com to help people better find and connect with relevant bloggers and vloggers – every product is (or should be) developed to solve a problem or improve workflow, and you’ll find some great examples in the book.
You can download the book here.
If you’re interested in how the book came together, the guy behind the idea- Ketchum’s Stephen Waddington – has written this blog, detailing how it began life as a crowd-sourced Google Drive list of tools, before asking people to contribute case studies and practical advice, which eventually and with the help of Prezly’s Frederik Vincx, became a web app that sat on top of the #PRstack Google document to help people interrogate the 250+ tools now listed. Prezly then helped to develop the ebook.
Each of the chapters will all be shared as a blog posts each day over the next three weeks on the PRstack site.
The nineteen contributing authors are as follows (you can find my bit about proving our worth to clients using Google Goals in the last chapter):
Matt Anderson; Stella Bayles; Michael Blowers; Stuart Bruce; Scott Guthrie; Sarah Hall; Rich Leigh; Adam Parker; Gary Preston; Andrew Ross; Andrew Smith; David Sawyer; Kalli Soteriou; Dan Tyte; Max Tatton-Brown; Ben Verinder; Angharad Welsh; and Ross Wigham.
