These bloody puddles are sending an important message to Russians

Hospitals in Saint Petersburg (Russia) are currently be suffering from a lack of blood donations – a common problem in the Summer months.
To send the message blood donation fund Fonddonorov launched an ambient stunt in the heart of the city.
In high footfall areas unusual red puddles started appearing on pavements.
Each puddle contained a droplet-shaped sign in the shape of a red droplet bearing an important message ‘this is how much blood will save someone’s life.’
The campaign video shows the public response.
