WWF uses “10 Year challenge” to highlight rain-forest plight

#10YearChallenge, the new viral trend,  involves people comparing pictures of themselves in 2009 to ones taken in 2019 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Currently the “#10YearChallenge” has 1.6m posts on Instagram’ with A-lister’s such as Reese Witherspoon and Miley Cyrus all getting involved.

The Wildlife Charity, WWF has this week used the social challenge to highlight the ongoing plight of rain-forests across the globe with a striking image showing the effects of ongoing deforestation.

The post has attracted lots of attention thus far with over 13k shares.
