To celebrate the hotly anticipated PS5 launch tomorrow, Sony has changed the Oxford Circus Underground signs in tribute to their controllers.
The iconic London Underground symbol has been built on with the equally as recognisable button shapes, which have featured in many of their marketing campaigns. In Sony PlayStation’s 25-year-history of technological, design and console developments, the icons have remained unchanged.
The four signs at Oxford Circus station are just down the road from Sony’s PlayStation Headquarters in London.

While the PS5 launches in the UK and Europe tomorrow, consumers have been forced to wait an extra week as the console went on sale in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea last week.
2020 has been a big year for gamers and The PlayStation 5 will be competing against Xbox’s Series X, which went on sale last week.
