Tourism New Zealand’s latest campaign takes a crack at influencer poses.
The satirical PSA stars comedian Tom Sainsbury, encouraging New Zealanders to steer clear of some of the more obvious photo trends and Do Something New… on social media!
The campaign urges visitors to avoid clichéd poses like the “hot tub backshot” and the “summit spreadeagle”.
The brilliantly funny video is gaining traction around the world, with news coverage from BBC, CNN and the Guardian, while also doing its job to generate some amazing new social imagery on #DoSomethingNewNZ, more than 700 images have been submitted overnight.
A recent image of people queuing to take photos at the summit of Roys Peak went viral on social media.
