Fly your name to the Moon onboard the NASA VIPER

NASA is inviting people to send their names to the surface of the Moon as part of the “Send Your Name with VIPER” campaign. Giving you the opportunity to attach your name for its maiden voyage. 

Short for Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover, VIPER will be the agency’s first-ever robotic Moon vehicle.

Designed to venture into the permanently dark side of the Moon, VIPER will embark on a mission to the lunar South Pole to uncover the mysteries of the Moon’s water. 

The mission will also help NASA better understand the environment in which they plan to land the first woman and first person of colour under its Artemis program.
