Pizza Hut offering pizza for life to person that asks Romney or Obama ‘sausage or pepperoni?’ during debate

Pizza Hut is offering a lifetime of free pizza to anyone who poses the question “Sausage or pepperoni” to either President Obama or Mitt Romney during next Tuesday’s presidential debate.

The proposed stunt, which the pizza chain announced yesterday, threatens to peeve many viewers who are expected to tune in to the debate to hear what the candidates have to say about the economy, health care and other serious concerns facing the country.

It has already drawn strong criticism from marketing experts and been decried as a “gimmick” and a “turn-off”. It will be interesting to see if anyone takes them up on the offer.
