Christmas homelessness campaign rewards donors with 3D Printed snow globe – with their house in it

Ad agency BBH London has teamed up with childrens’ charity Barnardo’s to give something back to those who donate this Christmas.

Until midnight this Friday (21st Dec), every day, one donor’s home address will be picked and, using 3D printing, made into a unique snow globe with their house in it. The campaign, which highlights the fact that 75,000 young people in the UK risk spending the festive period on the streets acts as a ‘small reminder of the joy of being at home this Christmas’.

I’m personally unspeakably excited about the potential of 3D printing, both within marketing and wider applications, so it’s nice to see early campaigns looking to use it.
