LYNX to send ‘a few brave men’ (and women) to space
By Stephen Graham on Friday, January 11, 2013
Deodorant brand LYNX/AXE is offering the chance for one lucky person to leave earth a mortal and come back a hero.
Buzz Aldrin, the second man ever to set foot on the moon, and the deodorant brand have launched the competition where 22 winners, which will include one Brit, will experience Earth from outer space on the Lynx SXC (Space Expedition Corporation) space shuttle – scheduled to lift off next year.
They even had a quote from Buzz, who said:
“I’m thrilled that Lynx is giving the young people of today such an extraordinary opportunity to experience some of what I’ve encountered in space.”
Top-voted candidates will qualify for the Lynx Space Academy challenge weekend, held this summer, where they will face physical and mental NASA-style tests.
You can register for the Lynx Acadamy here.
My favourite part of the campaign so far has to be the astronauts roaming the streets of London. Nice photo stunt, great campaign.
See some more of the pics on the MailOnline.
Thanks to Louisa Jane Groccot for pushing this my way.
